Mindful Mini Moment - Five Magic Breaths

These little mindfulness practices are designed to be used to interrupt autopilot, overwhelm and anxiety and in the process gain calm, clarity and kindness. It is essential that we interrupt our reactive patterns for our own wellbeing and our relationships. Tips for when to do a little MMM: •When you first wake up •Before you leave the bedroom •Before a meeting •Before leaving your car •Before entering another conversation •At any time when you notice the body is tense •Check in while in the bathroom, or when you have a tea/coffee •After a difficult conversation •At any time when you feel down, low mood, anxious, frustrated, angry, charged Five Magic Breaths is for bringing the body from the Sympathetic to the Parasympathetic, from activated/charged to Calm.
