The Lost Boys

The Lost Boys

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys kick things off by recapping the recent hailstorm that wreaked havoc in their area—destroying all three of Kyle’s vehicles, damaging Cam’s ride, and wiping out nearly half of Kyle’s garden. Ouch. Then, they dive into a bizarre listener submission from Kentucky involving a strange entity—just a head, arms, and torso—caught in the act of devouring all his cabbages.

After the break, Kyle shares some chilling new encounters with the infamous Black-Eyed Kids. These eerie stories follow a familiar and unsettling pattern: pale children with pitch-black eyes appear at homes or vehicles, knock politely, and insist on being let inside. Those who encounter them often report an immediate and overwhelming sense of dread.

While the children typically appear normal—aside from their unnerving eyes—some accounts mention outdated clothing and even talon-like feet. Theories about their origin range from extraterrestrial visitors and demonic entities to something far stranger. Some believe these beings are emissaries of the devil himself, and that inviting them in allows something truly evil to cross your threshold.

Though some say the legend dates back to the 1980s, most trace its roots to 1996, when Texas journalist Brian Bethel published his own terrifying encounter with these sinister children.

All this and more on this spine-tingling installment of Expanded Perspectives!
