Many were events and issues that, one would hope, we didn’t have to still worry about after years of perceived progress. The main example being the systematic racism that has plagued our nation and the protests that took place and brought awareness to this issue. The case I am going to cover today is a hard one to hear. It’s one I debated on covering but, in the end, our history needs to be remembered so we can learn and progress.
