// INTRODUÇÃO:

Vocês sabem usar corretamente a palavra muito? Não? Então, chega mais, que eu vou explicar tudinho pra vocês!

// Muito before a noun (variable):

1 - When you have a masculine singular noun, you will use muito (masculine and singular):

Tem muito lixo na rua.

(There is a lot of garbage on the street.)

Eu sinto muito calor.

(I feel very hot.)

2 - When you have a masculine plural noun, you will use muitos (masculine and plural):

Eu tenho muitos casacos no meu guarda-roupa.

(I have lots of coats inmy closet.)

Tinham muitos doces na festa de aniversário da Júlia.

(There were lots of sweets in Júlia’s birthday party.)

3– When you have a feminine singular noun, you will use muita (feminine and singular):

Pedro conhece muita gente. Ele é muito popular.

(Pedro knows lots of people. He is very popular.)

Hoje nós temos muita lição de casa para fazer.

(Today we have lots of homework to do.)

4 - When you have a feminine plural noun you will use muitas (feminine and plural):

Muitas pessoas amam chocolate.

(Lots of people love chocolate.)

Elas compraram muitas roupas no shopping.

(They bought a lot of clothes at the mall.)



//Muito before an adjective (not variable):

Nossa, essa comida é muito boa.

(The adjective boa agrees with the feminine noun comida.)

Nossa, esse prato é muito bom.

(The adjective bom agrees with the maculine noun prato.)

Meu namorado é muito lindo.

(The adjective lindo agrees with the maculine noun namorado.)

Minha namorada é muito linda.

(The adjective linda agrees with the feminine noun namorada.)

Essa cidade é muito pacata.

(The adjective pacata agrees with the feminine noun cidade.)

Esse bairro é muito pacato.

(The adjective pacato agrees with the maculine noun bairro.)

//VOCABULÁRIO:

Bairro - neighborhood.

Bom/Boa - good.

Cidade - city.

Comida - food.

Esse/essa - this.

Lindo/linda - handsome/beautiful.

Meu/minha - my.

Namorado/namorada - boyfriend/girlfriend.

Pacato/pacata - quiet/peaceful.

Prato - dish.

Tudinho - it’s a way to emphasize the word tudo (everything)..
