In Our Weaknesses, God’s Grace Becomes Most Visible It’s not enough to set the goal; we must fully commit ourselves to it, offering even our weaknesses to God for transformation. He’s talking of something higher than that. And what is this something higher than that? It is life’s goals. The vision where we are going. What is it that we want in life? This is what our Lord Jesus Christ is talking about, and we know all too well that it is the goals that we set, that direct us, that channel us. That is why, Saint Paul in the first reading says, I will boast of my weaknesses, because it is through them that God shows his grace. It is through them that God’s power is shown. Maybe today we ask ourselves, what is our goal in life? It should be heaven. Our goal is God.
