Day 1 of the NHL Draft has concluded, but it was a very long and tedious process. Matthew Schaefer was drafted first overall by the New York Islanders. It's incredible that the Islanders were able to secure three first-round picks. However, the New Jersey Devils didn't have a first-round pick, and people are wondering what's next for them, especially with July 1st fast approaching.
