Sometimes, it is quite not easy to see the correct template to use when it comes to introducing guests at an event.

We don't want to appear abrasive or harsh; at the same time, we want to appear very confident, assertive, and firm. At the same time, we don't want to sound abrasive, insensitive, or like we don't value the guest enough.
