Founder Series: Giving Garments a Second Life in Pakistan with BizB & Sehrish Raza

Entrepreneurship: A New Concept in Pakistan
Entrepreneurship is a relatively new career path in Pakistan. The idea of being an entrepreneur had not crossed Sehrish's mind until she was well into her university years. Right out of university, she attempted to take on a few different desk jobs, but without the thrill of risk and reward. It wasn’t until she came face to face with a wedding dress reseller that she saw where her true passion lies: in sustainable, cost effective fashion. BizB was born.

Breaking the Taboo of Pre-Loved, Second Hand Fashion
Until recently buying second hand fashion was a big taboo in Pakistan. But Sherish knew from her own personal experience that there were a huge number of women holding on to clothes they no longer wanted and an even larger number of women wanting to fill their wardrobes. BizB is now a successful leading resale platform in Pakistan with thousands of users and tens of thousands of garments. In this episode learn how she's managed to crack Pakistan's 200+ million market with pre-loved fashion.
