The Donnarumma Dilemma

Of all the things Paris Saint-Germain supporters thought they might have to worry about this season, the goalkeeper situation probably wasn't high on the list. Unfortunately, after several poor performances, Luis Enrique has a difficult decision to make regarding Gianluigi Donnarumma.

On this episode of PSG Talking, I'm joined by "PSG 10" to discuss Donnarumma's recent form, which included a red card incident against Le Havre that will see him suspended for two Ligue 1 matches. We also discuss PSG's upcoming fixtures and what supporters can expect from the club in the January transfer window.

Up first, we dive into Donnarumma's latest failures and mental mistakes. We give our assessment of the situation, question whether PSG's porous back line could be somewhat to blame, and which backup goalkeeper could replace him both while he's suspended and against Borussia Dortmund on matchday six of the UEFA Champions League.

Speaking of Dortmund, we discuss potential changes PSG could make to its squad ahead of the massive match where a win will see them top the group, and anything less could put them in the UEFA Europa League. PSG's next match against FC Nantes could give us a clue as to what Luis Enrique might be thinking for that clash in Germany.

We wrap up the show by talking about the January transfer window. Could we see some concrete movement on the Kylian Mbappé file? Will Real Madrid make a bid? What if PSG falls to the Europa League?
