Andrya DeGhelder

On the evening of July 24th, 2018 - a Wednesday - 39-year old Andrya DeGhelder was a no-show for her shift at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. This was very unlike Andrya, a divorced mother of one, who had a reputation for being reliable and punctual.

Her coworkers contacted a friend, who tried to get in-touch with Andrya. Eventually, after paying Andrya an unsuccessful house call, this friend contacted the local sheriff's office, who paid a visit to Andrya's home in Grovetown, Georgia.

There, police would find a chaotic crime scene, which they believe pointed to an abduction. Over the next week or so, investigators and volunteers would work to raise awareness for Andrya's disappearance, highlighting her past struggles, but a shocking discovery just a week later would shock this quiet community...
