This episode is from East Anglia and looks at the story of 17 year-old Amanda Wagg. Amanda had so much going for her in life, but she was being abused by her boyfriend 22 year-old Shaun Thrower and despite doing all she could to leave him, Thrower turned up at her work one normal Wednesday to make one final attempt to reunite with Amanda. The consequences were shocking.


This episode also reflects on the warning signs of coercive and controlling behaviour, and the importance of early intervention in situations involving young people and abuse.
