Dr Mathew Leonardi is an advanced gynecological surgeon and sonologist (ultrasound specialist) at McMaster University Medical Centre in Hamilton, Canada. He has been awarded his Ph.D. from the University of Sydney, which focused on the utility of ultrasound in diagnosing and managing endometriosis. We talk about non-invasive ways to diagnose endo, the challenges doctors and patients face in Canada, and much more. 83. Did not have pain but had stage 4 endometriosis that was discovered during her fertility journey and now has her "miracle babies."

Jill did not have any pain with her cycles- she did have heavy bleeding, and her Mother had endo, but because she did not present with the pain, she did not think she could have endo. Jill started to have cysts and pain when she started fertility treatments which led her to three surgeries and a stage 4 endo diagnosis.
