Lenoria Jones
"It's a difficult case. You've got no crime scene, no body, no witnesses. You basically have nothing but the hope somebody is going to talk."At approximately 9:40 AM on the morning of 20 July 1995, 45-year-old Berlean Williams called 911. In a rather-unaffected voice, she told the dispatcher that her niece and adopted daughter, 3-year-old Lenoria Jones, was missing, having disappeared from a Target in the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma, Washington.Despite searching the surrounding area for several hours, police were unable to locate any trace of the missing girl. As you'd expect, they'd begin to question the woman who'd reported the girl missing, but this would only create more questions than answers...Episode researched, written, hosted, and produced by Micheal WhelanOriginal music created by Micheal Whelan through Amper MusicLearn more about this podcast at http://unresolved.meIf you would like to support this podcast and others, consider heading to https://www.patreon.com/unresolvedpod to become a Patron or ProducerBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/unresolved--3266604/support.

Danielle Imbo & Richard Petrone Jr.
"Tips throughout time have indicated logically that this is not a kidnapping case. We're looking very closely at a murder-for-hire scenario."On the evening of 19 February 2005, Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone Jr. met up with some friends along Philadelphia's South Street. There, at a bar called Abilene, they hung out for a bit and watched a live band, then reportedly left in a good mood at about 11:45 PM.The following morning, no trace of either Danielle nor Richard could be found. Attempts to find them, as well as Richard's 2001 Dodge Dakota, have proven unsuccessful over the years. While there is no evidence pointing to their current whereabouts - nor their continued existence following the night of their disappearance - the FBI publicly suspected that the two had been targeted for a hit...Episode researched & written by Troy LarsonEpisode hosted & produced by Micheal WhelanOriginal music created by Micheal Whelan through Amper MusicLearn more about this podcast at http://unresolved.meIf you would like to support this podcast and others, consider heading to https://www.patreon.com/unresolvedpod to become a Patron or ProducerBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/unresolved--3266604/support.

The Careaga Family
"I'm dying right now. My family's shot. Hurry."On the evening of 27 January 2017, dispatchers in Kitsap County, Washington received a 911 call from 16-year-old Hunter Schaap. In the call, which lasted less than a minute, the teen pleaded with authorities to rush to the scene.By the time authorities arrived, the home that Hunter lived in with his family was engulfed in flame. After extinguishing the blaze, a search of the house found three bodies inside and evidence of multiple gunshots outside. The Pennsylvania Serial Bomber?
"We remain committed to keeping the community safe and urge the public if they see these devices on the street or see them being sold to call 911."On 4 October 2019, an explosion rocked a home on Market Street in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, a small town of not-quite 6,000 residents. A woman, 34-year-old Shanna Carlson, was killed in the blast and ensuing fire. The cause was an unidentified explosive device, which exploded with such force that Shanna had to be identified by a tattoo on her leg. While looking into that story (of which, sadly, not much information can be found) we ended up coming upon a far wider-reaching and more terrifying story: a potential serial bomber terrorizing families throughout Pennsylvania... The Long Island Serial Killer (Update)
There has been an update in the story of Shannan Gilbert, the woman whose disappearance led to the discovery of the Long Island Serial Killer victims (episodes #14-16 from 2016). Authorities in Suffolk County have finally released the audio from Shannan's 911 call(s) on the night of her disappearance, which they have fought tooth-and-nail against releasing for the better part of a decade, fearing that it would impact their ongoing LISK investigation... while also claiming in the same breath that Shannan's death had nothing to do with this unidentified serial killer. The I-70 Killer
"I think we are definitely dealing with a serial killer. He's not really getting much money out of the shops. We don't know why he's killing people."Between April and May of 1992, a series of shooting deaths took place in Midwest shops, located intermittently along Interstate 70. Four of the victims - Robin Fuldauer, Patricia Smith, Nancy Kitzmiller, and Sarah Blessing - were young brunettes. The other two - Patricia Magers and Michael "Mick" McCown - appeared to be outliers. For years, investigators have struggled to determine why the offender committed these crimes, with robbery and sexual assault not believed to be motives. And while the offender hasn't yet been caught, he has been linked to other crimes committed in Texas and Indiana, including a 2001 murder in which the offender was caught on surveillance footage...To view the surveillance footage of the offender from the 2001 murder of Billy Brossman in Terra Haute, Indiana, please view and share the clip from KMOV St. Louis linked below:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14tW-boOvgU Episode researched & written by Troy LarsonEpisode hosted & produced by Micheal WhelanOriginal music created by Micheal Whelan through Amper MusicLearn more about this podcast at http://unresolved.meIf you would like to support this podcast and others, consider heading to https://www.patreon.com/unresolvedpod to become a Patron or ProducerBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/unresolved--3266604/support.
