Destiny: Susan Plunket, Paranormal Perspectives

This book will introduce you to yourself in a new way. It will transform how you thnk about yourself and help you recognize your own self-limitimg beliefs about who you are and can be. It is the author's story but it is also all of our story.

The book moves through time from right after World War II, when the author was born, through the fifties, sixties and seventies as she grows up, eventually becoming a Jungian psychologist in the eighties. You have a front-row seat as you travel through the decades right up to the present witnessing Susan's sometimes harrowwing but always wondrous experiences with the invisible world. Astral travel, angel visits, travel to the life between life realm, encounters with ghosts, conversations with the dead, including Jung, out of body experiences, possession by a dark being, dream realities, and visits to other dimensions, are some of the things she will share with you in A Jungain Understanding of Transcendent Experiences.

By 2024 Susan realizes that the nature of reality is One Consciousness supporting all of us, or as Nobel Prize winning quantum phyisicist, Erwin Schrodinger, put it: "The number of minds in the universe is One." We all have access to this Mind. This realization offers us freedom to move beyond hopelessness and negative thinking, to harness the power of this Mind to think the thoughts which create the experiences we desire. What we think, we create.

This book is part of a series of books by different authors sharing their perspectives on the paranormal. Gavin Davies conceived the idea and invited the rest of us. The title all the books begins with Paranormal Perspectives: -- and then the author's subttitle. That should make it possible to find all of them on Amazon. I hope you enjoy the whole series. The first bunch will be released October 30, 2024. I enjoyed writing this more than any other book I've written.

Jack Kelley: The Atlantis Puzzle

Jack Kelley: The Atlantis Puzzle

The Atlantis Puzzle, written and directed by Jack Kelley, might seem like some Ancient Aliens drivel at a glance. However, unlike that widely mocked show or the countless movies that “prove” Bigfoot is real, the filmmaker relies on historical facts, the original Plato text that tells of Atlantis, and geography to get to the heart of the matter. Interestingly, said heart is not to prove where or when Atlantis sank but that it did not sink into the ocean. How convincing is the argument made?Electrical engineer George Sarantitis is an avid student of ancient Greece. In looking over Plato’s Critias, which is the text that contains the myth of Atlantis, the man discovered several translation errors, such as “ocean” versus “sea” or “this here” versus “that there.” So he has spent years retranslating the text with help and claims to have figured out where Atlantis was and that while it was wiped away, it did not sink to the bottom of the ocean.Kelley meticulously chronicles Sarantitis’s claims through interviews, taking the audience on a journey of discovery. His thorough approach, including global travels and an in-depth exploration of Plato’s life, is a testament to his dedication. The filmmaker examines known geographical facts (crocodiles live in a desert with no nearby water source?) all to try and verify what Sarantitis says. But just before this becomes a simple puff piece, Kelley scrutinizes Critias for all the things that are not possible, then or now.It is Kelley’s unwavering dedication to debunking that gives credence to so much of The Atlantis Puzzle. By openly acknowledging the embellished or simply made-up parts, the elements grounded in history are much easier to swallow, leaving the audience reassured and confident in the credibility of the other claims. It also helps that several indisputable facts also lend themselves to claims made by Sarantitis, such as a 40-kilometer city ruin in western Africa. Aside from Sarantitis, the director talks to a semiologist to better understand the numerous after-effects of earthquakes.Veracity aside, how is the documentary as a motion picture? Kelley, with his expertise in the field, has helmed a very polished and expertly crafted experience. The interviews are interspersed nicely, and the use of a regional map greatly helps all watching understand the areas discussed throughout the 85-minute runtime. The interjection of text to emphasize this claim or that part works nicely, showcasing Kelley’s directorial skills and attention to detail. This expertise instills confidence in the audience about the quality of the finished project. The Atlantis Puzzle is not just a documentary, it is an engaging journey that offers more facts and historical precedent than the title might imply. Kelley is a fun host whose natural curiosity rubs off on viewers, making the exploration of ancient mysteries a thrilling and exciting experience. Sarantitis comes across as very passionate and intelligent. The film is well-directed and maintains a nice pace. Most importantly, the movie backs up just about every claim via historical facts or known geographical anomalies. All in all, this is an expertly made documentary that will please history buffs and cinephiles equally. For more information, visit the official The Atlantis Puzzle site.https://www.primevideo.com/detail/The-Atlantis-Puzzle/0IWJPRNDZQM1CHI56Y9RIDL66OBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

Adam Stokes: Hermes and the Hermetica

Adam Stokes: Hermes and the Hermetica

Hermetic writings, works of revelation on occult, theological, and philosophical subjects ascribed to the Egyptian god Thoth (Greek Hermes Trismegistos [Hermes the Thrice-Greatest]), who was believed to be the inventor of writing and the patron of all the arts dependent on writing. The collection, written in Greek and Latin, probably dates from the middle of the 1st to the end of the 3rd century ad. It was written in the form of Platonic dialogues and falls into two main classes: “popular” Hermetism, which deals with astrology and the other occult sciences; and “learned” Hermetism, which is concerned with theology and philosophy. Both seem to have arisen in the complex Greco-Egyptian culture of the Ptolemaic and Roman periods. From the Renaissance until the end of the 19th century, popular Hermetic literature received little scholarly attention. More recent study, however, has shown that its development preceded that of learned Hermetism and that it reflects ideas and beliefs that were widely held in the early Roman Empire and are therefore significant for the religious and intellectual history of the time.In the Hellenistic age there was a growing distrust of traditional Greek rationalism and a breaking down of the distinction between science and religion. Hermes-Thoth was but one of the gods and prophets (chiefly Oriental) to whom people turned for a divinely revealed wisdom. In this period the works ascribed to Hermes Trismegistos were primarily on astrology; to these were later added treatises on medicine, alchemy (Tabula Smaragdina [“Emerald Tablet”], a favourite source for medieval alchemists), and magic. The underlying concept of astrology—that the cosmos constituted a unity and that all parts of it were interdependent—was basic also to the other occult sciences. To make this principle effective in practice (and Hermetic “science” was intensely utilitarian), it was necessary to know the laws of sympathy and antipathy by which the parts of the universe were related. But because these assumed affinities did not, in fact, exist and hence could not be discovered by ordinary scientific methods, recourse had to be made to divine revelation. The aim of Hermetism, like that of Gnosticism (a contemporary religious-philosophical movement), was the deification or rebirth of mortals through the knowledge (gnosis) of the one transcendent God, the world, and humankind. The theological writings are represented chiefly by the 17 treatises of the Corpus Hermeticum, by extensive fragments in the Anthologion (Anthology) of Stobaeus, and by a Latin translation of the Asclepius, preserved among the works of Apuleius. Though the setting of these is Egyptian, the philosophy is Greek. The Hermetic writings, in fact, present a fusion of Eastern religious elements with Platonic, Stoic, and Neo-Pythagorean philosophies. It is unlikely, however, that there was any well-defined Hermetic community, or “church.”Hermetism was extensively cultivated by the Arabs, and through them it reached and influenced the West. There are frequent allusions to Hermes Trismegistos in late medieval and in Renaissance literature.Adam Oliver Stokes, M.Div. holds degrees in religion from Duke University and Yale Divinity School. Biohacking Basics: Brian Richard, Sauna and Light Therapy

Biohacking Basics: Brian Richard, Sauna and Light Therapy

INFRARED THERAPYHow Do Infrared Saunas Work? All saunas have the same goal: to raise your core body temperature enough to jump-start its natural healing processes.Traditional saunas use steam, fire, or electric heaters to make the air in the sauna hot, which eventually heats up your body from the outside in. Infrared saunas tap into the science of light to help you sweat faster and more comfortably.Near infrared saunasUnlike the traditional methods, near infrared (NIR) light works with your body’s biology to create radiant heat—from the inside out. By using near infrared’s shorter wavelengths in a way that mimics natural sunlight, the light penetrates deeply to raise your core temperature faster.Near infrared saunas give you:Ultrafast heat therapyComfortable air temperaturesBuilt-in light therapyFaster sauna sessionsFar infrared saunasThere are many far infrared (FIR) saunas on the market, but these longer wavelengths are absorbed by water, which means they won’t get past the water in the surface layers of your skin. If your sauna relies primarily on FIR, it may take longer to raise your core body temperature.Another drawback of far infrared saunas is the lack of light therapy. Our bodies don’t have receptors for far infrared light. To remedy this, some brands will add LED light therapy panels, but the combination of these approaches still doesn’t match the effectiveness of how infrared light works in nature. The perfect combinationBy bringing these two therapeutic approaches into our meticulously engineered saunas, SaunaSpace helps people enjoy relief, relaxation, and wellness at its best. Keep reading to see how it works.SaunaSpace founderIn 2008, I discovered how life-changing a sauna could be.Insomnia, adrenal fatigue, and acne were getting in the way of my everyday life. When an alternative medicine doctor recommended near infrared sauna therapy, I was grateful for a solution that didn’t involve prescription drugs, but there weren’t many options for near infrared saunas.Within days I started to notice changes, and continued treatment brought all of my symptoms to a halt. I became obsessed with perfecting the technology so I could make it accessible to everyone.Thirteen years later, we have a team of great engineers and craftspeople who share my mission: to give everyone a natural way to relax, get relief, and live their healthiest lives. I’m proud of how many people we’ve helped in that time, and we’re determined to keep improving so we can change lives for many years to come.https://sauna.space/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

Destiny: Brit Elder, UFO...Contact from the Pleiades

In this forty-fifth anniversary edition, a humble, one-armed Swiss farmer named Billy Meier documents his date with destiny with hundreds of photos, videos, and written conversations with extraterrestrial visitors from the Pleiades star cluster. UFO…Contact from the Pleiades offers the inside story of one of the most remarkable and convincing extraterrestrial encounters ever reported. For the first time—forty-five years after their original publication—the two photo-journal volumes of UFO…Contact from the Pleiades are combined in one book for a modern audience, with a new foreword written by Shirley MacLaine, a prologue written by Mexican UFOlogist Jamie Maussan, and a new introduction and preface written by Brit Elders. This photo-journal presents the unique contact case of a Swiss farmer, Billy Meier, who claims to have met with the Pleiadians hundreds of times, compiling many layers of evidence including notes on their conversations, hundreds of photographs, movie footage, audio recordings of the craft, landing tracks of the spaceships, dozens of witnesses, and even metal samples of the craft itself. The quality and amount of evidence was convincing, making this unlike any case previously seen.UFO…Contact from the Pleiades takes the reader back to a time before home computers, digital photography, and easily accessible photo enhancement programs. Yet the evidence—analyzed in laboratories around the world—could not be easily dismissed, and supported the claims of the contactee, Billy Meier. The breathtaking images, profound words of the Pleiadians, and the extensive investigation that spanned seven years are as relevant today as they were forty-five years ago.Brit Elders is an investigative author and documentary filmmaker who traveled the world exploring a variety of topics including the mysterious world of UFOs. Michael Le Flem: The Cultural Curiosities of Atlantis

Michael Le Flem: The Cultural Curiosities of Atlantis

People the world over have grappled with the story of Atlantis for millennia. But how much is fact? How much is fiction? How much is something else, filtered through the obscuring lens of time?Clairvoyant impressions from Edgar Cayce, Frederick Oliver, Rudolf Steiner, Barbara Hand Clow, and others supplement a concerted scientific, philosophical, and historical investigation of humanity's antediluvian achievements and Atlantis' tragic demise. At the same time, listeners will see just how the story of Atlantis has evolved from the seminal account passed down by Plato almost 2,400 years ago into those of the present day, as we engage with some of its strongest proponents and harshest critics alike.More than just a dry catalog of Atlantean footnotes, Visions of Atlantis strikes at the core of the great divide between materialist reductionism and the frontiers of metaphysics, enjoining listeners to reconsider some of their most deeply held beliefs about ancient technology, psychic phenomena, reincarnation, and the vast unknown past.Michael Le Flem, M.A. is a researcher, adjunct professor of history and philosophy, columnist for New Dawn Magazine and KennedysandKing.com, a scuba diver and guitarist. He grew up in South Florida, and attended the Harriet. L.
