Karolina Pelc #5 - Richard Carter, Group CEO, Bragg Gaming Group (The man with the Bragging rights)

Richard Carter is a Group Chief Executive Officer of Bragg Gaming Group, an innovative B2B online gaming solution provider and the company behind Oryx Gaming.

Prior to recent appointment, Richard has served as Bragg’s Non-Executive Chair, advising and providing support to the Bragg team on developing a global strategy focused on partnerships, the continued growth of their organic business, and consideration of all accretive M&A opportunities.

Richard, formerly the CEO of interactive sports betting solutions and services provider SBTech, held the role for 5 years until the company’s merger with digital sports entertainment and gaming company DraftKings through a three-way deal with Diamond Eagle Acquisition Corp in April 2020. The transaction was valued at US $3.3 billion and the combined entity has a current market cap of US $20 billion. Before his tenure at SBTech, Richard was Director of Research at Deutsche Bank.
