Episode 3: Premier League review, Onuachu & Moffi continue bagging, new potential Super Eagles, Brexit GBE eligibility & Victor Osimhen is back!

In this episode, I review the action from the Premier League over the past 10 days before running through how our star Super Eagles fared for their club sides over the same period in all the top European leagues

I then touch on the news regarding FIFA approving the allegiance switch to Nigeria of 6 players out of a total of 8 rumoured to have applied for the switch and I deep dive into each of them.

In other national team news, I discuss Bright Osayi-Samuel’s move to Fernebahce from QPR, NFF president Amaju Pinnick’s approval to run for a FIFA council seat & I pay respects to former national team assistant manager Joe Erico who sadly passed away recently.

I then deep dive into the new eligibility rules for a Governing Body Endorsement (GBE), which is the new required work permit for any non-British players wishing to play in the Premier League and how it affects our current national team players

I give flowers to the throwback Super Eagle of the week Finidi George & touch on a warning moment in our recent history in 2005/2006 where we failed to qualify for the World Cup after losing out on head-to-head scoring to Angola & finishing 3rd in AFCON 2006 and how thay may have affected Obafemi Martins’ legacy in Europe before rounding off with the Ones to Watch over the coming weekend.
