Ep 413: Throwback to Ep27: MYTH: Money Comes To Us Based On The Value We Create

Start Your Transformation Now If you’re like most people into personal development, you’ve probably heard someone along the way say, “You get paid according to the value you create in the world.” I heard that many years ago and used to believe that if I wanted to become rich I needed to create more value in the world. You know, the old Zig Ziglar quote, “Help enough people get what they want and they’ll help you get what you want.” Over the years I’ve discovered that is only half of the equation. In this episode I talk about:[2:42] Why many people who create a lot of value in the world are broke[4:40] The reason the “social worker” mentality does not create business wealth[6:54] Why you have to couple prosperity consciousness with the value you create[12:25] Why contribution is more important than achievement[15:19] And, specifically, how you must first value the value you createIf you don’t value your own value, then it’s going to be hard to attract prosperity because you don’t value the very thing which is supposed to attract money to you. Value what you do and the world will respond to that value. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway You have to value what you do. If you don’t value your own offering, no one else will. Ep 383: Throwback to Ep66: Q & A – When You Have EXTREMELY Large Goals Should You Start By Focusing On Smaller Goals?

Ep 383: Throwback to Ep66: Q & A – When You Have EXTREMELY Large Goals Should You Start By Focusing On Smaller Goals?

Start Your Transformation Now Goals, for most of your life you’ve heard people talking about goals and why you should set them. In this Q&A episode I talk about goals from a few different perspectives and I talk about why I don’t personally set them. Yes, you read that right, I don’t set goals. In this episode I talk about: [6:56] Working by a “12 week year” [10:38] Why it’s important to break down goals into quarters [11:32] Why tracking is so important if you set goals [12:15] How “processing styles” can sabotage your goals [14:29] The role of habits in your goal achievement [15:23] How subconscious identity plays into your goals [26:40] Why goal setting can be detrimental, research proven [29:33] And, finally, why I personally do not set goals I really enjoyed creating this episode. This is such an overrated topic, in my opinion, and it’s one that that has been drilled into our heads since we were kids. So, I go a few different directions in this episode. If you want to set goals I talk about breaking them down. If you don’t want to set goals or you want a more healthy approach I talk about some Harvard research and my personal approach. I had fun with this episode, I hope you enjoy it. Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  Break goals into 12 weeks and trackable results. Know your brain based processing style so you can apply it to your goals. And, finally, counter intuitive I know, but don’t set goals when you work from BEing the goal first in your mind. Ep 382: Being a Zero Limit Person

Ep 382: Being a Zero Limit Person

Start Your Transformation Now What if everything you believe about your limitations is false? In this opening episode of a brand-new series, Jim introduces the transformational concept of becoming a “Zero Limit Person.” He challenges the identities we’ve been indoctrinated into—identities that shape how we think, act, and live—and reminds us that we are not our culture, beliefs, or even our names. We are pure energy, straight from Source, with no limits—except those we’ve been taught to believe in.  Jim goes deeper by unpacking how our perceived limits are tied to our learned identity. He explains why starting from your current (limited) self will never get you to where you want to go—and instead offers a radical shift in thinking: to begin from your already unlimited nature. This isn’t about motivation or self-help hacks—it’s about fundamentally knowing yourself as cosmic, eternal, and all-powerful energy.  If you’re ready to remember who you truly are and start living from your infinite potential, this is the series—and the episode—to listen to.  What You’ll Discover in This Episode:  What It Really Means to Be a Zero Limit Person (01:00)  Jim shares the foundational shift in identity required to live without limits.  The Drop of Water Metaphor That Changes Everything (06:30)  You are to Source what a drop is to the ocean—separate in form, but not in essence.  The Trap of Point A to Point B Thinking (13:50)  Why you’ll never create true transformation by working from your current self.  The Core Declaration That Will Change Your Life (16:20)  Four simple words that begin the process of dissolving limitation: “I am unlimited source.”  How to Reprogram Your Identity Through Repetition (23:00)  Why repetition creates your reality—and how to consciously use it to transform your life.  The Holographic Universe and Your Infinite Power (28:00)  Understanding how even the smallest part of you reflects the all—because you are the all.  Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  You are not your job, your culture, your body, or your name. You are Source—unlimited, cosmic energy experiencing life in physical form. The moment you know this—not just think or believe it—but truly know it, is the moment you become a Zero Limit Person. Repeat this truth daily: “I am unlimited source.” Feel it. Embody it. Live from it. And watch your life transform.  Mentioned Resources: The Holographic Universe: Michael Talbot Disclosure: Some of the links above are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you make a purchase. Ep 381: Throwback to Ep79: You Are Not In Control, Your Brain Is.

Ep 381: Throwback to Ep79: You Are Not In Control, Your Brain Is.

Start Your Transformation Now  Trying to control your life? Control others? Getting into control in general? HINT: You have NO control, even if you think you do. Like it or not, your brain does all the “controlling” for you and that’s not a matter of opinion, it’s scientifically proven. Stop fighting life and stop trying to control life, it’s a waste of time and energy. In this episode I talk about: [2:02] How science proves that you have zero control over your life [6:27] How your “habits” actually control you [7:39] Why your habits are what they are [9:15] How parts of your brain work against each other [13:48] Why your emotions are stronger than your thinking [20:46] Why your habits are more important than your beliefs And, like I say over and over…much more. If you want the next 12 months to be your happiest and best ever then stop thinking about what you want and start focusing on your habits. You don’t get what you want in life, you get your habits and for the most part, CONTROL is a habit. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Ep 380: Who Is Don Xavier, The Shaman, pt. 2

Ep 380: Who Is Don Xavier, The Shaman, pt. 2

Start Your Transformation Now  In part two of this deeply personal series, Jim Fortin continues to explore the mystery and wisdom of Don Xavier, the shaman and spiritual teacher who has profoundly shaped Jim’s life and work. After receiving overwhelming feedback from part one, Jim returns with more extraordinary stories—many never shared before—offering listeners a rare glimpse into the spiritual teachings, experiences, and insights he’s gained over decades of walking this transformational path. This episode is packed with powerful anecdotes—from ceremonies under the stars in sacred lands to dreamtime revelations that defy logic. Jim dives deeper into what it means to walk the path of awareness, the dangers of over-identifying with the analytical mind, and the spiritual significance behind everyday and extraordinary events. He also shares text messages from Don Xavier that point to the core of what true shamanism is: merging with the “All,” or Anima Mundi. If you’re ready to open your heart, quiet your mind, and awaken to a reality beyond 3D logic, this is an episode you won’t want to miss. What You’ll Discover in This Episode  The misunderstood path of shamanism (00:00) – Jim reintroduces Don Xavier and sets the record straight about who he really is—and isn’t.  Belief, skepticism, and “cult” misconceptions (02:50) – Why working with Don Xavier is the opposite of dogma and belief-based systems.  Transformation through experience, not belief (06:13) – Jim shares how growth happens when you let go of needing to “know” and embrace being.  The power of observation over intellect (09:09) – Discover why true awareness begins when you stop thinking and start seeing.  Merging with the All: Anima Mundi (12:06) – Don Xavier’s profound message on connecting with nature, energy, and all living beings.  Miracles in the mundane (15:01) – From disappearing winds to perfect recoveries, Jim recalls unexplainable events during sacred ceremonies.  Freeing yourself from the analytical mind (17:57) – How trying to figure everything out actually weighs you down and limits your evolution.  Dreams, animals, and messages from beyond (20:51) – Stories that challenge logic but expand your perception of reality and karma.  The future of humanity and the threat of AI (24:11) – Don Xavier’s sobering warning about how technology may again lead to humanity’s collapse.  A call to awaken (36:12) – Jim’s closing message on the illusion of certainty and the importance of living with curiosity, awareness, and heart. Listen, apply, and enjoy!    Transformational Takeaway  There’s more to life than meets the eye—and it’s not what you think. The more we try to figure everything out, the more we distance ourselves from true wisdom. Growth begins when we quiet the analytical mind and return to the stillness of observation, connection, and trust in the unknown. As Don Xavier teaches, your mind is not your brain—real transformation starts when you stop thinking and start seeing. Ep 379: Throwback to Ep5: Why Your Bad Habits Are So Hard To Break

Ep 379: Throwback to Ep5: Why Your Bad Habits Are So Hard To Break

Start Your Transformation Now  In today’s episode, you’ll learn why it has been so hard to break your bad habits. The reason why is that people try to use willpower to break bad habits and willpower is a conscious process and habits come from the reptilian brain. When you got up this morning you didn’t say “ok I’m going to get out of bed then go to the bathroom then shower”…. it happened automatically without conscious analytical thought. All of us go through life on autopilot, and if you have what you do not want, you’ve created that on autopilot. If you want to create new things in life, you’ve got to create new habits. In this episode you'll learn: Your entire life is a habit. You must focus on creating the habits that create the outcome that you want. Most people have a story that it’s hard to break a habit. Most people try and create change with the wrong part of the brain My habit program that will show you how to eliminate any habit without using willpower Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway  You are not your habits. You are not your urges. You are not your habit voice telling you to go into your habits. (That’s your reptilian brain talking) You are you and your brain runs your habits. You cannot change your habits by fighting them. You must communicate with reptilian brain and it becomes easy for you to break your habits. Ep 378: How Your Identity Illusion Keeps You Trapped

Ep 378: How Your Identity Illusion Keeps You Trapped

Start Your Transformation Now  In this powerful solo episode, Jim Fortin explores a concept he’s never directly addressed before: the identity illusion—and how it subconsciously keeps people stuck in cycles of struggle, fear, and self-sabotage. He explains why most people never truly change, no matter how much they learn, and reveals why transformation doesn’t come from more information—but from breaking free of who you think you are. Jim takes listeners deep into the subconscious mind, breaking down the mechanisms behind identity verification, predictability, and disintegration anxiety. Using vivid metaphors and examples, he explains how we unknowingly recreate the same results in life—whether financial ceilings, toxic relationships, or emotional blocks—and why you can't escape the illusion from inside the illusion. If you're tired of trying to think your way to change or wondering why you can't break old habits, this episode is the wake-up call you didn't know you needed. What You’ll Discover in This Episode  The Trap of the Identity Illusion (03:30) – Why you always fall back into the same patterns, even after gaining insights or motivation.  Why More Information Isn’t the Solution (11:10) – The critical difference between understanding and being—and why just “knowing” doesn’t change your life.  You Can’t Escape the Box from Inside the Box (19:42) – A powerful metaphor that explains why transformation requires an external shift in perspective.  How You Unconsciously Verify Your Identity (28:05) – The hidden way you attract experiences that confirm who you believe you are—even when it’s painful.  The Role of Predictability and Disintegration Anxiety (35:21) – How the brain’s survival mechanisms stop you from creating lasting change.  Why You’ll Stay Trapped Without Mentorship (47:50) – Jim’s own turning point story that underscores why mentorship is essential for real growth. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway  You are not your struggles, your past, or your circumstances. You are a being living inside an illusion of identity—one that was formed by subconscious beliefs, childhood experiences, and repeated patterns. The good news? Illusions can be broken. But it requires a shift in being, not just thinking. True transformation begins when you step outside of the box and allow yourself to see what’s really been holding you back. It’s not that you’re broken—it’s that you’ve been hypnotized by an old version of yourself. Set yourself free. Ep 377: Throwback to Ep75: Why Changing Your Mindset Never Works

Ep 377: Throwback to Ep75: Why Changing Your Mindset Never Works

Start Your Transformation Now  If you’re like just about every person on the planet you’ve wanted something different in your life and you’ve tried to “change your mindset” to create new things in life, right? And, if you’re like most of the planet, a few days later you’ve found yourself right back in your old patterns and ways. Why does this happen? Easy, “changing your mindset” does not work. It’s a left-brain process and behavior and habits come from a different part of the brain, the reptilian brain…so, when trying to think our way to change we have two parts of our brain at odds and the reptilian brain will dominate and always win! In this episode I talk about why changing your mindset never works and I give you a path to what works and what to do instead. Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway  Changing mindset does not work - changing identity and habits does Resources: “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind” – Joseph Murphy & “It Works!” book Master Thought Formula Disclosure: Some of the links above are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you make a purchase.
