Faith Kipyegon set the new 5000m World Record of 14:05.20, less than a week after running the 1500m WR in Florence, while Lemecha Girma of Ethiopia made it a treble of new World Records, running the 3000m Steeplechase in the best time of 7:52.11. Catriona Bisset 1:58.55 in a race that saw Keely Hodgkinson break the British Record in 1:55.77. Paris Diamond League Results   Leanne Pompeani won the Launceston Running Festival 10k in 31:37, breaking the 24 year old all-comers record, as Lisa Weightman came second in 32:10 and Olga Firsova third in 32:43. Brett Robinson won in 28:11 outkicking Ed Marks 28:13 and James Hansen 28:20, with all three finishing under the previous course record. Ed Goddard won the Half Marathon in 63:10, ahead of Andy Buchanan in 63:15 and Tim Vincent in 63:17. Ellie Pashley took the win in 71:52, followed by Tara Palm in 73:16 and then Milly Clark with 75:47. Launceston Running Festival Results   Ky Robinson won the NCAA 10,000m in 28:10.96 at the Track and Field Championships in Austin, Texas alongside Stanford teammate Charles Hicks. Ky then backed it up the following day winning the NCAA Championship 5000m in 14:04.77 with fellow Aussie Jackson Sharpe for Wisconsin coming third. Izzy Thornton-Bott placed second in the 1500m representing University of Oregon behind Kiwi winner Maia Ramsden for Harvard, while on the men’s side Adam Spencer for Wisconsin placed third. Results The Seiko Grand Prix in Yokohama, Japan saw Rose Davies run 8:44.07 in the 3000m for  2nd, with Isobel Batt-Doyle clocking 8:53.81 for 4th. Matt Clarke came close to his personal best in the Steeplechase running 8:26.47 for fourth, while Jack Bruce and Jude Thomas both ran in the 3000m World Athletics Results   Great Ocean Road Running Festival kicked off with the 14km Paradise Run won by Andre Waring and Sarah Klein in dominant performances, then Andre defended his double victories from last year winning the 23km Half Marathon as well, ahead of Cameron Smith and Simon Hogan, while Amy Fawcett took the podium in front of Elise Beacom and Ciara Sullivan. Set against a constant headwind, the Great Ocean Road Marathon was won by Toby Menday ahead of Bayden Westerweller, Tom Hall in third, with Sara Coulter taking the win over Caitlin Duncan and Danni Rogan. Dion Finocchiarro and Alice Hall were the winners of the 60km Ultramarathon. Great Ocean Road Marathon Results   Marnie Ponton won the Runaway Sydney Half in a dominant 74:30, clear of Niamh Allen & Tara Prowse in second and third.
