We have 2 speakers from the North Oakland Open speaker meeting held in Oakland California, the meeting opens with Alex as the 10 min speaker, he is followed by Rena telling her story for the remainder of the time. This is a call up meeting at the 3rd Annual Columbia River Young Peoples Roundup from September of 1978. The topic of the meeting is On Awakening and has a number of folks in the audience coming up and sharing on the topic. I was looking for an Al-Anon meeting and came across this meeting from December of 1978, it is an AA speaker and then an Al-Anon speaker recorded somewhere in Portland Oregon.  It opens with the AA speaker Elle telling her story, then we have Donna telling her Al-Anon story, it turns out she is a triple hitter being an Al-Anon, AA and NA member! AA Beginners Class: Mike takes a group all the way through the steps over a period of four weeks. This is a repost from July of 2017 This is based on AA beginners classes popular in the 1940s that were conducted by different groups of AA. I was a little fascinated by this bit of AA history I knew nothing about. This is a panel meeting from the Northwest Fellowship Of The Spirit Conference held in August of 2022. It was led by Sarah, Colter and Randy on Step 3 and was hosted at Warm Beach in Washington. After the three leads  share for about the first 30 min they are followed by folks sharing their experience around the 3rd Step. I did considerable editing on this, not so much on content as mike noise, removing dead air and pulling down volume on loud spots. FYI... there is still a bit of mike noise.
