Seven years ago, the first episode of the Meditation for Women podcast went live and the Women’s Meditation Network was born. Since then, we’ve grown to 12 team members, 20 podcasts and a YouTube channel that’s listened to by millions of women around the world, and have been downloaded almost 200 million times! Also during this time, I had my second daughter, moved to our dream home, did a few triathlons, got some chickens, cats and learned how to make sourdough. I’ve had amazing highs, really dark lows and have learned a lot about myself along the way.  You hear the gentle rustling of leaves,  The soft chirping of birds,  And the occasional sound of a stream flowing nearby. LONG PAUSE
 As you continue to walk deeper into the forest,  You feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed.  Your mind is free from thoughts and worries,  And your body is relaxed and calm.  Softening and opening.  PAUSE
 You come across a beautiful clearing, With a lush green meadow surrounded by tall trees.  You take a moment to sit down, And take in the beauty and peace around you. LONG PAUSE
 In this clearing, you glimpse an inviting hammock.  You slowly crawl into the hammock,  As it begins to gently sway back and forth. Back and forth,  Opening and softening you, Lulling you into a deeper state of relaxation.  PAUSE
 You feel the softness of the hammock beneath you,  And the warmth of the sun on your skin. Breathe
 And feel the gentle movements of the hammock,  Ease your body, And clear your mind.  LONG PAUSE
 As you relax in the hammock,  Imagine that you can feel every muscle in your body, Softening into your dreams, And releasing every last grain of tension within you.  PAUSE
 Your neck and shoulders relax,  Your arms and legs become heavy, And your mind becomes peaceful and still. LONG PAUSE
 Now, imagine that with each breath,  You are inhaling peace and calm. And with each exhale,  You are exhaling any remaining tension or stress.  PAUSE
 Your body is becoming lighter and lighter,  Sinking deeper into relaxation and peace. PAUSE
 Sink deeper into the hammock, And let yourself be carried away to deep deep sleep.  Just observe them,  As if they were bubbles slowly floating in the air. Light,  And separate from you.  LONG PAUSE
 Relax your body deeper into comfort,  And as you do, Imagine those bubbles slowly floating away. Slowly moving further away from you, And eventually, Disappearing into the night.  LONG PAUSE
 As more bubbles appear, Perhaps filled with worries,  Fears,  Or unknowns, Just watch them rise up, And slowly drift away, Dancing on the breeze, And disappearing into the night.  LONG PAUSE
 Now see if you can imagine yourself,  Surrounded by the soothing sounds of the forest. The crickets and the wind play sleep sounds in your ears, Lulling you into calm. PAUSE
 The trees are surrounding you, Protecting you, And breathing life into your body. The soft forest floor tenderly holds you, And invites you to rest.  PAUSE
 This is your place of serenity, Your place of peace.  Breathe in the air, And feel it warm you, And bring you home.  LONG PAUSE
 The bubbles may still arise,  But they easily float off into the night. And each time you see one go by, You nod in its direction, Acknowledging its existence, And then gratefully say goodbye as its journeys into the darkness.  PAUSE
 You feel light and open,  Deeply relaxed and healed.  Free of all the bubbles,  That have left you to rest.  PAUSE
 Float, float, float away, The worries are no longer here.  You hear the water’s musical trickle, And feel the cool mist on your skin, As your feet slowly ease in.  PAUSE
 Feel the gentle flow of water as it kisses your skin.  Acknowledging your presence, And then drifting on by in the current.  PAUSE
 This ease, This flow, Calms you, And brings you peace.  PAUSE
 You can feel your thoughts dissolving, And your body softening, As you slowly become one with the welcoming waters. LONG PAUSE
 All that is heavy, Releases.  All that is dark, Lightens.  All that is unclear,  Focuses.  Feel the flow.  LONG PAUSE
 Like the leaves that are carried downstream,  All these heavy pieces of you flow into the water,  And float downstream. Releasing their hold on you, And leaving you free.  PAUSE
 Be here with the water,  One with its rhythms and coolness,  One with the gentle flow.  LONG PAUSE
