-Questions of the day-

What was the topic of yesterday's discussion?

How is society changing?

What kind of education is common in Japan?

What is Japanese or any language supposed to be?

What is important in learning Japanese?

-Today’s topic-

Yesterday, we had a panel discussion on education in Japan.

We talked to teachers who are advisors on education in Japan.

Nowadays, society is changing at a very fast pace.

It's not just that remote work has increased at Corona, it's that you can't just do what you're told.

You need to find your own issues and think for yourself.

Society is changing in such a way, but the field of education has yet to catch up.

It is still common for students to be taught the answers and memorize them.

When I heard this story, I thought that studying Japanese is the same.

Japanese language and language are a means to an end, so the goal is to use it to talk to people, travel, and have other experiences.

However, I have the impression that people whose goal is to pass exams such as the JLPT or to learn Japanese are slow to improve.

I think the important thing is to imagine what kind of experience you want to have using Japanese as a tool.
