Brenden Dillon's first year with the New Jersey Devils was solid. He provided defense, physicality, and veteran leadership. All of these qualities are crucial for a playoff team. Unfortunately, his playoff run was cut short last season due to a neck injury in game one against the Carolina Hurricanes, but he'll be ready to go by training camp.
