Sheila Lewis - Multiple Sclerosis

Sheila Lewis - Multiple Sclerosis

We believe that all voices need to be heard and it is the voice of women with autoimmune conditions like MS that are often silenced. Fortunately, there are some brave souls who stand up to represent and inspire. Let me introduce you to one such incredible woman, Sheila Lewis, a Compassionate Advocate for Healing and Growth.

With over 28 years of experience in social care, Sheila Lewis has dedicated her life to supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging circumstances.

From mental health and learning disabilities to domestic violence and community outreach, she has worked across diverse fields—always striving to uncover the root of human experiences. Her passion lies in truly listening to personal stories and understanding what drives people’s actions.

As a Registered Care Manager and Qualified Psychodynamic Therapist, Sheila has spent the last few years running her own private practice, Pathway Therapy Surrey (https://pathwaytherapysurrey.co.uk/). Based in Tadworth, Surrey, her practice offers psychodynamic counselling tailored to each individual’s needs whether in person,

online, or over the phone. She believes that our past experiences shape our present behaviours, often in ways we don’t realize. Through therapy, she helps clients explore these influences, gain insight, and make meaningful choices that foster

personal growth.

Sheila has also faced her own personal challenges, having been diagnosed with

multiple sclerosis. However, rather than slowing her down, this journey has fuelled her drive deepening her understanding of resilience, self-care, and the importance of emotional healing. She refuses to let obstacles define her, instead using them as motivation to push forward and inspire others on their path to wellness.

Beyond her professional expertise, Sheila is a mother, a wife, and a firm believer in the power of self-care, meaningful connections, and humour as tools for resilience. Whether it’s traveling, sharing a belly laugh, or dancing through life’s ups and downs, she embraces the philosophy that joy and healing go hand in hand.

Her aspirations remain deeply personal yet universally inspiring climbing a mountain,

owning a dog, and continuing to broaden her understanding in the counselling field.

Through every step, she remains committed to guiding others toward wellness, growth, and self-empowerment. If you’d like to work with Sheila, you can contact her through her website.
