Paying Tithes Is Not Enough

As Adventist business owners, it feels good to support the church's mission with our tithes and offerings. But is that really enough? Have we done our duty? How does a wholistic approach to mission look like?

Gary Krause, director of Adventist Mission, challenges us to go above and beyond tithes. As business owners, we converse with all sorts of people every day. We need to implement Jesus' method of ministry. "Christ's method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Savior mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, 'Follow Me.'" — Ellen White, Ministry of Healing, page 143.

How can our businesses become centers of influence? What can we learn from secular centers of influences and their strategies? What would God love to see — is it more than just paying tithes and offerings? Learn how you can transform your business into a mission enterprise, a soul-winning agency for God.
