Amy Lee Wensley died on 26 June 2014 at her home as a result of a shotgun injury to her head. She was 24 years old. She put her two girls in a car after being assaulted by her ex, David Simmons, went into the house to get something and never came out. Within minutes, the detectives who attended declared Amy’s death a suicide. Anna Davey, Amy’s aunt, believed it was murder and has been fighting for justice for 11 years.
