In honor of the death of George Floyd and every other black man, transgender person, and every individual that has lost their lives brutality at the hands of those who have hate, fear, racism, and white supremacy power pulsing through their knuckles, I replay this episode.

Because just as black men are dying at the hands of the police that should be protecting them, black women are dying at the hands of their healthcare providers that are supposed to be helping birth their children. Are you ready to hear this?

Black women are 3-4 times more likely to die than white women in childbirth in the US. Fact.
