Having Conversations about Sexual "Normality" with Chad Evans

Having conversations with people with different opinions and perspectives is already tough. Imagine having a conversation that pushes the boundaries of social norms regarding sexuality with anyone, let alone your family. Chad Evans, admitted to his family at a young age his sexual identity when he realized he did not identify the same as the majority of the population. With the lack of information and unfamiliarity of different sexual identities, there is a sufficient amount of people who find it difficult to understand how someone, like Chad, identifies differently than they do.

It is important to educate ourselves, and have conversations about unfamiliar topics, especially topics that push the boundaries of societal norms. Change is good and being open minded is the first step.

Chad has evolved tremendously since revealing his true identity to his family at the young age of 15. However, his WUBU moment came when he first started going to therapy and realized that he was living his life for everyone else and not for himself. He realized that no matter what he was doing, he was focused on everyone else's opinions. He had to get over the fact that everyone has an opinion no matter what and even though their opinions didn't align with his, it shouldn't effect his life.
