Rampage Jackson’s First Fights Were Insane

Rampage Jackson joins the show and takes us deep into his legendary career. He shares how he went pro after only 2 amateur fights and the wild stories behind those first bouts. Rampage recalls his first pro fight against Marvin Eastman, fighting open hand, and when he started slapping people outside the cage - something inspired by Japanese icon Antonio Inoki.
He opens up about the first autograph he ever gave in Japan, the friendships it created, and why making people laugh with a slap meant so much to him. Rampage also gives his take on how Prime Rampage Jackson would do in today’s UFC, saying he would run through the light heavyweight division.
The conversation gets raw as he talks backstage chaos, from Kevin Randleman busting his head open before a fight to crossing paths with the yakuza. And he breaks down how he prepared for the impossible - fighting Chuck Liddell and Wanderlei Silva on the same night.
