S2 Ep. 22 | Creating Meaningful Work and Inclusive Communities with Amie Schindler

S2 Ep. 22 | Creating Meaningful Work and Inclusive Communities with Amie Schindler

What if the greatest mission of your life was sparked by love for your child?

In this episode, I sit down with my radiant friend Amie Schindler, a wife, mom of three, and fierce advocate for the autism community. When her son Brayden entered adulthood and suddenly lost access to vital services, Amie didn’t stay stuck in frustration. She followed the nudge from God, stepped into her purpose, and partnered with Braden and Wigglewow to create meaningful employment for adults with special needs through gourmet dog treats.

This conversation is filled with faith, motherhood, and mission, but it’s also about courage: what it looks like to rise above fear, say yes to purpose, and believe you are enough to make a difference. Whether you’re a mom in midlife searching for a new purpose, or someone who simply craves meaningful work, this story will encourage you to see what’s possible when love leads.

✔️ The emotional reality of autism and adulthood, and how families navigate the “cliff” after high school

✔️ The power of inclusion and how one community changed everything for Amie’s family

✔️ How Wigglewow is proving that adults with special needs don’t just deserve jobs, they deserve careers that bring pride and purpose

This episode will open your eyes to the beauty of advocacy, the strength of motherhood, and the joy of building something that changes lives. Subscribe, share, and listen now to be inspired by Amie’s story.

More About Amie

Hi there! I am Amie Schindler, a wife and mom of 3. When my middle son Brayden, who has autism, entered adulthood, he suddenly lost access to the services and support he had in school. That experience inspired me, through God’s guidance, to create opportunities for him and others to find fulfillment through inclusive employment and meaningful community.

Over 2 years ago, Brayden and I partnered with a company called Wigglewow, a company focused on creating careers for adults with special needs making gourmet dog treats. Recently we have partnered together to move and make an even larger impact. We were just recently approved for our non-profit status and are on the move to go nationwide to help other families and eventually grow living communities too!
