Ep 174 Discovering the Power of Selflessness by Helping Others

Ep 174 Discovering the Power of Selflessness by Helping Others

We all face problems in life, but sometimes it can feel overwhelming when we focus solely on ourselves and can't seem to break out of the cycle. It's easy to get bogged down in our own struggles, but what if there was another way?

What if we could look beyond our own problems and help others instead? What if we could make the world a better place through our own actions?

The idea of helping others instead of trying to fix our own problems can be a difficult concept to understand. We often think of our own issues as the only ones that matter and that our struggles are the only ones that need to be addressed.

But when we look beyond our own problems and focus on helping others, we can make a significant difference in the world. We can be of help to those who are facing similar circumstances and help to create a more positive environment.

Rebecca Babcock is a 44-year old badass, chronic illness warrior with no colon, sober, a divorcee, and highly effective corporate leader. After 20+ years of celebrated successes (and, of course, a few layoffs!) she stepped away from the corporate ladder to help others live their best life NOW, regardless of how lifey it gets.

In this episode, Rebecca shares her inspiring story of strength and resilience, telling us about her journey of overcoming tough times and all the hardships she faced. From battling her own struggles to finding triumph, she explains how she managed to come out on top and live a bigger, more meaningful life by no longer focusing on her own problems and instead dedicating her time to helping others. Listen in to find out how Rebecca's determination have enabled her to create a more fulfilling and purposeful life.

"Life gets lifey. Either we roll with it or be miserable. I refuse to be miserable." - Rebecca Babcock
