54. Dream Interpretation with Kari Hohne

54. Dream Interpretation with Kari Hohne

This week’s episode is all about dreams and dream interpretation. My guest is Kari Hohne, a dream analyst and author, who explores spirituality through nature. She shares her passion for our ancient traditions through music, books, apps and self-help technology. As an expert in symbols, she presents the eastern archetypes, inspired by nature, in the Tao and I Ching sections. The collective wisdom of our western archetypes can be found in the Tarot and Astrology sections.

Her pioneering work in dream research inspired many books on dreams, which explore the common “hero” cycles of conflict, cause, and resolution that take the dreamer on an adventure of self-discovery. She also has popular translations of ancient texts, including the Tao te Ching, I Ching and comparative mythology.

In this episode we cover the following topics:

  • What are dreams?
  • The mythology of sleep
  • How to interpret dreams
  • Dreams as healing
  • Psychology
  • Everyone dreams
