#16. Worry Detox: Rewiring Your Brain for Inner Peace

This is my story from when worry was a normal part of my life unconsciously, to now when I truly hardly ever worry about anything. I have trained myself not to stay in worry. Of course it’s a natural response sometimes, with a dad in his 80s and teenagers and a 21 year old,, but I have learned how to move through it quickly.

It’s one of those internal muscles we get to train!

So many moms carry ‘worry’ without knowing, or at least this is my experience coaching so many women the last 5 years. Many women would say to me that if they don’t worry then does that mean they aren’t a good mom???? Heck NO!

Worry doesn’t feel good, worry is fear, worry is the top emotion. Please remember these things.

Consider changing ‘worry’ to ‘curious’ when you speak out loud and in your head.

Remember the law of attraction - what we put out, we get back.

Our job is to remember our true authentic self again, to come back to that unconditional love part of us, and let that part lead our lives.

We get to tap into our true authentic self, which is all unconditional love.

Our true authentic self wouldn’t give us ‘fearful thoughts’, it would offer us ‘loving thoughts’.

I am giving you permission that you are allowed to have peace and calm and love thoughts in life.

The key is to catch it and then adjust it to a higher vibrational thought.

I offered an example of my daughter travelling on the other side of the world.

I talk about what I believe a ‘good mom’ looks like and it’s not about worrying more, it’s about loving more, which creates more peace.

Remember, peace is our power in our life!
