Kate and Chris are right at the start of their journey...Sort of. They have been discussing ethical and consensual non-monogamy for the last couple of months but have been forced to just keep talking about it due to COVID-19. The conversation came up after Kate asked Chris for a divorce because after her third emotional affair she concluded that she must not love him anymore since she was interested in someone else. Chris wasn't about to throw away 20 years of marriage that easily and after some long nights of talking it turns out that neither of them wanted to get divorced. Gasp!
