Ep. 36 The Weekly: Christianity & Conspiracies

On this week's episode, Ryan delves into the relationship between Christianity and conspiracy theories and religion and delusional thinking. Although Ryan does not believe that there is a necessary connection between faith and delusion, he does think that there are some reasons why religious people have a tendency to accept conspiracy theories.

"I believe in the classical and ecumenical truths of Christianity. I believe that these truths are good, that Christianity is truly good news. But these kinds of delusional and fanatical attitudes, behaviors, and mindsets make it more difficult to see, to recognize, the good news of the faith passed down."

Ryan Ragozine is the host of Thinker Sensitive. He is passionate about ecumenical dialogue, inter-religious dialogue, and worldview engagement. He is a major proponent of civil discourse, free thinking, free speech, and ethical communication. Ryan has always been preoccupied with big ideas and big questions. He holds a B.A. in Theology and an M.A. in Philosophy.
