EP124: Natalie & Chase DeBlase - The Princess and the Shadow
Single father John DeBlase was given an ultimatum by his pregnant girlfriend Heather Keaton. She demanded full authority to discipline his 5-year-old daughter Natalie and 3-year-old son Chase as she saw fit, or she would leave him. Heather hated his children and for months John stood by and allowed them to endure torturous punishments for the most minor offenses. The last time anyone saw Natalie alive was in March of 2010. Little Chase disappeared on Father's Day of that year. Find out what happened to Natalie and Chase DeBlase in this week's episode of Crimes and Consequences.______________________________________________________Special thanks to "EveryPlate" for sponsoring this episode. EP121: Dangerous Candy
Wylie, Texas was a quiet place to live in 1978. Away from the hustle and bustle of Dallas, Wylie seemed to be a tight-knit community that was centered around the neighborhood church. Pat and Candy Montgomery were active in the church, as were the Gores, Allan and Betty. Even though Candy spent a lot of time at church and was involved in the activities there, she was bored with her life as a housewife and felt like she was missing sexual fireworks. She soon approached Allan Gore, and that is when sparks flew. Listen to this week's episode to find out why Dangerous Candy destroyed two families. Thanks to this episode's sponsor - Sundance Now.
