288-ACIM Workbook Lesson 288

288-ACIM Workbook Lesson 288

Let Me Forget My Brother’s Past Today” anchors a candid dialogue about how ego turns memory into identity and how true forgetting releases judgment instead of hiding it. The hosts share clear inner steps to shift perception, apply them to family tension and daily friction, and address safety, boundaries, and what to do when patterns persist.

———-

*Allison here. I wanted to fill you all in on the podcast process! While my episodes are researched, scripted, and edited by me, the episodes are spoken by AI voices generated via NotebookLM. I don’t use AI to actually generate the episodes on its own for two reasons:

1) AI is not good enough at this time to create accurate episodes about A Course in Miracles. It misses nuance, fails to make connections to concepts discussed earlier, ad libs inaccurate information, and is very inconsistent at…well, everything.

2) A Course in Miracles in Practice is a labor of love I could never outsource. Reading the lessons, researching the concepts, interrogating and critiquing the information - I love it all. Because my voice isn’t the best, and because having two hosts discuss the topic is AWESOME, I appreciate this technology. I also hope that people with voice issues can make use of this tech in ways that are helpful to them.

Since I use AI hosts , I haven’t given them names. The stories they tell are mine. Coffee talk? traffic incidents? Selling plasma? New job? All me. The female host is me, while the male host is me from a male perspective (my two sons are grown so I reference stores from when they were younger). To protect identities of friends, coworkers and family, I change their biographies without changing their stories.

Creating these episodes takes HOURS every day. I could easily shorten the time by feeding a lesson to an LLM and posting the result, but I will never do that to myself or to you.

I greatly appreciate your comments, questions, and feedback, and hope to meet more of you over time because you all rock. I’m mostly on TikTok socially, but am open to other platforms. Feel free to drop me a line, share your story for the podcast, and tag me on social media!
