The Delphi Murders: Vegas Dreams

The Delphi Murders: Vegas Dreams

Correction: In this episode, we said that Tony Kline deleted his Facebook. That was incorrect. It appears that Kline blocked Murder Sheet co-creator Kevin Greenlee when he reached out for comment, so it only appeared that his page was gone. We regret the error. On Facebook, Kegan Anthony Kline posted that he was starting a new job in Las Vegas on the day that Abby Williams and Liberty German were murdered in Delphi, Indiana. But does Kline's Vegas alibi hold up? In this episode, the Murder Sheet speaks with business owners and casino employees to attempt to get to the truth. This episode takes a break from our focus on restaurant homicides, and is part of our intermittent series of episodes on the Delphi case. You Never Can Forget: The Emails

You Never Can Forget: The Emails

A few weeks back, we covered the saga of how serial plagiarist Ashley Flowers worked out a deal with Indiana State Police investigator Bill Dalton to get the exclusive right to access — and make money off of —the Burger Chef investigative files Dalton had been entrusted with.To learn more about that sorry affair, please listened to "You Never Can Forget: The Fiasco" (https://tinyurl.com/5n82x5wn).This week, we're back with more information on this mess, thanks to a records request that the ISP just (finally) completed. In this episode, we'll get into bizarre details about the Red Ball collaboration, like how Dalton and Flowers mocked other podcasters and planned trips to Idaho together. We'll also feature insights from Chris Davis, another podcaster who's covered the Burger Chef case. Here is a link to the definition we cited in the program: https://www.yourdictionary.com/silver-platter-doctrineFollow the Murder Sheet on social media:FacebookTwitterInstagramAnd send tips to murdersheet@gmail.com.The Murder Sheet is a production of Mystery Sheet LLC .See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

You Never Can Forget: The Driver

You Never Can Forget: The Driver

On the night that four young people vanished from the Burger Chef in Speedway, Indiana, something odd happened just down the road. A Speedway officer pulled over a young man who we'll call Terry. During that stop, Terry threw a .38 caliber gun out the window of his car. To this date, questions about whether that strange incident was connected to the Burger Chef murders have abounded.Well, we actually found Terry. And we talked to him. In this episode of the Murder Sheet, Terry will speak about his memories of that night, and the impact this case has had on his life.Follow the Murder Sheet on social media:FacebookTwitterInstagramAnd send tips to murdersheet@gmail.com.The Murder Sheet is a production of Mystery Sheet LLC .See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

You Never Can Forget: The Witness

You Never Can Forget: The Witness

Should the sketches in the Burger Chef murders be thrown out altogether? In this episode of the Murder Sheet, we'll reveal information that we feel indicates that the sketches are completely unreliable.Mary Rein is an important figure in the Burger Chef case. She's one of the teenaged witnesses who said she saw two white men — one bearded, one clean-shaven — behind the restaurant on the night of the disappearances. Rein is also an acquaintance of Allen Pruitt and his friend David Adams, who ended up at the Dunkin' Donuts next door that night. Over the years, she's struggled with a drug habit, and a recurring feeling of guilty. In this episode of the Murder Sheet, Mary Rein will go on the record about the case. She will also reveal that she purposely flubbed the description of the clean-shaven man she said she saw behind the Burger Chef that night.Follow the Murder Sheet on social media:FacebookTwitterInstagramAnd send tips to murdersheet@gmail.com.The Murder Sheet is a production of Mystery Sheet LLC .See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

The Delphi Murders: Kayla's Story

The Delphi Murders: Kayla's Story

A 27-year-old Indiana man named Kegan Anthony Kline has been brought up in connection with the 2017 murders of Liberty German and Abigail Williams in Delphi, Indiana. He currently stands accused of using social media to catfish and coerce young girls. This week, the Murder Sheet spoke with a woman named Kayla. She told us that Kline cat-fished her when she was just 12. Over the next few years, he would threaten and abuse her online. In one chilling anecdote, Kayla recalled meeting Kline at a public park. She said he became furious with her for bringing along a friend. Due to the disturbing allegations contained in this episode, we submitted a tip to authorities using the Delphi hotline, with Kayla's permission. This episode takes a break from our focus on restaurant homicides, and is part of our intermittent series of episodes on the Delphi case.
