In this episode, I want to pay homage to a towering figure in conservative thought, whose personality and voice continue to resonate with me, William F. Buckley Jr. Buckley was more than just a political commentator. He was a master of wit, intellect, and unwavering principle. Often when I write, I think about conservatism, and I think about William F. Buckley, and my inner monologue is his voice, which guides me through a lot of the insights that I come with. These insights are not my own but those made by men of the past whom I remember or find, and I bring them up to get to where I'm going on most topics.

For a bit of fun and tribute, I'll be reading a short piece I've written in Buckley's distinctive voice. My attempt to mimic Buckley is an affectionate caricature.
