At just 19 years old, Violette Serrat shifted her career ambitions from fashion design and painting to makeup artistry. She began reaching out to photographers and models and producing shoots for free so she could practice her art and build a portfolio. Eventually, her work was recognized by Vogue France, and just a year later, she signed on as makeup director at Dior. Over the next decade, she took on roles at beauty companies such as Sephora, Estée Lauder, and Guerlain. With her digital presence, she was able to land jobs at fashion retailers such as Net-a-Porter and Matches. Eventually, she left these jobs to pursue her career as a blogger and influencer full-time.
