🌸 Living Out Faith and Works | What Needs to Die in Your Life? 🌸

Are you ready to grow in your faith and start producing real fruit in your life? 🌱 In this video, we’re talking about what it means to die to self so that you can live out your faith in a way that reflects Jesus. John 12:24 reminds us that “death is required to produce much” — meaning that sometimes, the old parts of us need to die so that new, God-given fruit can grow.

✨ What Does It Mean to Die to Self?

Dying to self isn’t about losing your identity or pretending to be someone you’re not. It’s about letting go of selfish desires and shifting your focus from me to others. For me, this meant letting go of my obsession with how I looked, my fashion, and how others perceived me. Once I stopped focusing so much on myself, I was able to serve at my church, build real friendships, and even get to know the names of the homeless people in my area. That’s the fruit that comes when you make space for God to work in your life.

💖 What Do YOU Need to Let Go Of?

Sometimes we’re holding on to things that are stopping us from growing. Galatians 5:22-23 gives us a clear picture of what needs to go:

➡️ Hate → Love

➡️ Misery or moodiness → Joy

➡️ Chaos → Peace

➡️ Impatience → Patience

➡️ Meanness → Kindness

➡️ Wickedness → Goodness

➡️ Faithlessness → Faithfulness

➡️ Brutality → Gentleness

➡️ Indiscipline → Self-control

So… what needs to die in your life to make way for the new?

🔥 Faith Without Works is Dead (James 2:14)

Faith isn’t just about what you believe — it’s about how you live. Love is action. John 13:34 says, “Love one another as I have loved you.” Jesus showed his love through action — so how can you reflect that love today?

🌺 This isn’t about being perfect — it’s about being real, recognizing the parts of you that need to change, and surrendering them to God. When you die to yourself, new fruit WILL come. Healthy relationships, peace, and purpose will follow.
