LOCATION: SCOTTSDALE, AZ, USA It looks like your typical public library. Rows and rows of books. Fiction, non-fiction, history, mystery. You name it, they've got it at the public library in Scottsdale, Arizona. But what's unique about the Mustang Branch - it's supposedly haunted. Librarian Pam Beach shared of an encounter she heard about from another library staffer. "And it would've been like on a Sunday morning. early before we opened. We're usually pulling holds and he said it just sounded like footsteps in the other aisle. So, he went around to look down that aisle and he couldn't see anything." Employees says lots of strange things happen between the stacks and the storage areas. "We are in our work area and will often hear things going along in the library especially when it's a little quieter," says Librarian Louisa Aikin. "Several people have reported that there's a funny, kinda squeaky wheel sound - almost like a book cart that needs some WD-40. And that's one we think comes the closest to some kinda of encounter." To try and figure out who is haunting the library, the Unexplained Cases team tagged along with Sonora Paranormal Investigations to try to get some answers about this haunted library. "We definitely got some voice responses to things. We'll defiantly have to do some analysis of it. Amy Millington Seemed more to me like a lot of it was related to the people who were here with us." The group believed that they had made contact with some spirits via their high-tech gear. "Sometimes it's pretty clear like over there some of the stuff that was said was pretty clear. SPI used audio and video equipment to capture evidence of the paranormal. "So hard to describe but it's like you are hearing static like something that's filtering through a spiritbox. When you listen to the spiritbox. But when you hear something, it's like you have to shut off the noise that you're hearing and it'll come like on top of the noise. On my camera, I appeared to capture some sort of light anomaly zipping across the room. The interesting thing about this evidence is that it appeared when a team member was asking a spirit to manifest in that specific corner. So, does any of this prove that the library is haunted? Probably too hard to tell right now. Great ghost stories and the team will go over the evidence they collected. But this place is pretty creepy.
