Honest Sex and the Path to Real Connection with Shana James

Honest Sex and the Path to Real Connection with Shana James

Most men want deeper connection with their partner but don’t know how to get there - especially after recovering from sex and porn addiction. The harder they try, the more disconnected it feels.

In this episode, Craig talks with Shana James, author of Honest Sex, A Passionate Path to Deepen Connection and Keep Relationships Alive, about building trust, passion, and truth in your relationship. They explore how fear, shame, and performance keep men from being fully present—and how honesty can actually bring more attraction, safety, and fulfillment into your sex life.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in surface-level intimacy or afraid to express what you really want, this conversation will help you understand how honesty can transform everything.

Is Sex Addiction Real? Two Titans Debate

Is Sex Addiction Real? Two Titans Debate

Craig Perra used to run a website about sex and porn addiction news called The Vicereport. He had a podcast and "I had the opportunity to interview Dr. David Ley and George Collins in what I thought would be a cage match between these two titans about whether sex addiction is real" says Craig. Dr. Ley authored the controversial book called the Myth of Sex Addiction, and George Collins, a former sex addict wrote Breaking the Cycle, Free Yourself From Sex Addiction, Porn Obsession and Shame.Dr. Ley also penned an article in the NY Post also entitled "Myth of Sex Addiction" blasting the sex addiction diagnosis and stating, "sex addiction is nothing more than a pop-psychology phenomenon, serving only to demonize sex, enforce moral views of sex and relationship and excuse irresponsible behaviors." George Collins fired back with two articles of his own, the first one entitled "Sex Addiction is Not a Myth" and the second, demanding personally that Dr. Ley "Stop Mocking Sex Addicts."Things get heated at times in this interview especially when George Collins, tells Dr. Ley his sex addiction bashing is hurting those suffering. Dr. Ley responds that there is no scientific evidence supporting an addiction label for compulsive sex, in fact it's bad for the client and society.
