13. Married to the Movies with David Thomson

I visit David Thomson — author of the iconic Biographical Dictionary of Film, Have You Seen...?, Sleeping With Strangers: How the Movies Shaped Desire, Disaster Mon Amour, and dozens of other books that make him the greatest film critic/historian/writer who ever lived — at his home in San Francisco for a very personal conversation about the horrifying erotic aftermath of MeToo and how to escape, or transcend, the "death of cinema."

If you like what you hear, subscribe on Patreon at Patreon.com/filthyarmenian for the PREQUEL to this adventure, my 2.5 hour conversation with David Thomson in 2017 about the entire state of film and TV and his career, including personal interactions with the likes of David Lynch and Al Pacino. Plus many other premium episodes that give you the complete 4D FAA experience.
