Florida sweeps season series with 3-2 victory over VGK

The Golden Knights lost their third straight game on home ice falling to the Florida Panthers for a second time this season 3-2. The Golden Knights spotted the Panthers a 2-0 lead after two periods. For a second game VGK outshot their opponents in the third period with a late push. In Monday's game, VGK outshot the Panthers 14-1 in the final period, but the only shot for Florida was the winning goal on the power play by Sam Reinhart. Over the past two games VGK outshot opponents 33-7. Tomas Hertl and Ivan Barbashev scored goals for the Golden Knights. Jack Eichel wasn't in a good mood following yesterday's morning skate, saying everyone on the team has high expectations. He said the team hasn't been good enough and "it hasn't been good enough for a while. We also address VGK lacking a Number One defenseman.
