Squirting, Dawn Culture & The Most Motivating Word

Squirting, Dawn Culture & The Most Motivating Word

Mamamia ran an article about "women who squirt" and the comment section lost its mind. So, why are men so invested? And... do we all have to learn how to do it?

Also, you're getting up earlier and there's a term for it. 'Dawn Culture' is the reason Australian beaches are packed at 6am. So why the rush, everyone?

And, how many weeks have you got left? Why a motivational tip Em stumbled across on her doom-scrolling freaked her out and made Holly almost order some extraordinarily confronting home decor.

Plus, recommendations and Michelle Obama's uncompromising rule about who gets to give parenting advice.

Recommendations

Em recommends this Salmon bites recipe from Recipe Tin Eats.

Jessie is recommending something her family did at her grandfather's wake; a shared mic last word celebration, where everybody can take the time to share stories and celebrate the life that was lived.

Holly recommends Down Cemetery Road on Apple TV +

The episode of MID Holly references with Kemi Nekvapil can be found here.

Mia's Only Fans Account Dilemma

Subscribe to Mamamia Imagine finding out you're standing on a gold mine. Lily Allen did just that and now she's making more money from sharing photos of her feet than she does from her hits. Mia's not surprised because the Internet has given a rating to HER feet -- but do Lily's score higher? And is this the beginning of some prime Mia/Lily feet beef? We unpack.  The Menendez brothers admitted killing their parents. Now they might be about to get out of jail. Here's why a TV show might be responsible for freeing them from a life behind bars. The Jackie O Story We All Got Wrong

The Jackie O Story We All Got Wrong

Subscribe to Mamamia One of the most successful women in Australian media has surprised everyone by opening up about her serious addiction issues and a stint in rehab. And it reminds us of something we repeatedly choose to forget. We discuss Jackie O's viral and very vulnerable moment as the star confirms that proceeds from her memoir The Whole Truth will be donated to addiction treatment centre Odyssey House.  Plus, you’ve probably seen the clip of the Irish movie star Saoirse Ronan sitting on The Graham Norton Show couch, shutting everyone up with a truth bomb that resonated with women everywhere. But what wasn’t said?  And, screw getting a mentor, don’t dream big and really, really don’t trust your gut. The best career advice that’s exactly the opposite of all the stuff you’ve ever been told.            What To Listen To Next:  Listen to our latest episode: The Friends Who Don’t Make The Grid Listen: Polls, Vibes & Trump's Work Experience Day Listen: Raygun And Some Very Big Feelings Listen to No Filter: Jackie O On What She Wishes She'd Known About Divorce Listen to True Crime Conversations  Connect your subscription to Apple Podcasts  Sign up to the Mamamia Out Loud Newsletter for all our recommendations and behind-the-scenes content in one place.  Join the Month of MOVE Get $30 off a Mamamia subscription and get unlimited access to our feel-good exercise app. Head here to get a yearly subscription for just $39.  What to Read:  Read: With just 10 words, Saoirse Ronan silenced all the men on The Graham Norton Show. From Mia: The Trad Wife Life Of Ballerina Farm’s Hannah Neeleman

From Mia: The Trad Wife Life Of Ballerina Farm’s Hannah Neeleman

Outlouders, Mia has a little treat for you today about one of our Roman Empires... Trad Wives.  Trad Wives like Hannah Neeleman and her Ballerina Farm empire have captured our imagination - and divided our opinions. They're an Instagram phenomenon using highly-produced content to promote traditional family values - specifically, the idea that women would be happier if they stayed home and served their husbands and children, trading in a life of career-focused grind for a life of content domesticity - and nobody sells this idea better than Hannah. Megan Agnew is a journalist for UK newspaper The Times. She managed to spend a day with Hannah, her husband Daniel and their eight children on the notoriously hard-to-penetrate Ballerina Farm. Megan saw behind the scenes but what she witnessed is very different to what we see on Instagram. Her article went viral and sparked a million think pieces and spurred some very strong reactions… including from the Neelemans themselves. So, what is behind the Trad Wife movement? Is it just harmless entrepreneurship, or is there a darker, more serious ideology beneath the surface? You can follow Megan Agnew here. You can listen to our episode with Tia Levings who barely escaped her Trad Wife life, here.
