Below is a summary of the interview Dealing with Emotional Instability with Aronke Omame (Sisilawyer)

Sisilawyer shared with us her childhood dreams of being a tailor and how her father influenced her career as a lawyer as he was also a lawyer. She explained her reasons for picking a specialization in divorce, marriage and family law because of a divorce issue she had witnessed as a junior lawyer. She mentioned that she had qualified to be a solicitor in the UK.

She made mention of emotional instability being in everything saying that when someone was emotionally unstable it could affect their confidence. She mentioned that everyone often went through stress, while she defined Stress as an accumulation of emotions that one has not fully gathered together. She went on to blame parenting as a factor in emotional instability.

According to her, mood swing was a case of depression in most cases as well as anger. She also condemned a relationship that allowed for partners to experience mood swings. She was of the opinion that relationships were supposed to be a happy time between two persons, she made it clear on how important it was to have a stress free life.

She was of the opinion that the police force in this part of the world was hard in believing rape. She motioned on parents to be sensitive and unapologetic about making decisions as it concerns their female children. She also partially blamed emotional instability on the company people keep with women speaking negative words.

She defines self-actualization as being real to oneself without thinking of what your friends affirm of you.
