Muqtida Hasan Nida Fazli, known as Nida Fazli (12 October 1938 – 8 February 2016), was a prominent Indian Hindi and Urdu poet, lyricist and dialogue writer. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2013 by the government of India for his contribution to literature. (Source Wikipedia). He was honoured with the National Harmony Award for writing on communal harmony. He wrote 24 books in Urdu, Hindi and Gujarati — some of which are assigned as school textbooks also. Safar mein dhoop to hogi is one of his better know poems especially as Prime Minister Narendra Modi recited this poem in the Rajya Sabha during discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address. This poem highlights life's eternal struggles and reminds us that greatness comes at a price and nothing in life comes without sacrifice. Pash Ki Kavita : Sabse Khatarnak | सबसे ख़तरनाक़ Inspirational Poem in Hindi Punjabi Revolutionary Poet Avtar Singh Sandhu 'Pash' (9 September-23 March 1988) was born in a middle class peasant family in village Talwandi Salem, distt. Jallandhar (Punjab). His father Sohan Singh Sandhu, who was a soldier, used to compose poetry. Pash is one of the major poets of Naxalite Movement. In 1972 he started a magazine named 'Siar' and in 1973 founded 'Punjabi Sahit Te Sabhiachar Manch. His poetic works are: Loh Katha (1971), Uddade Bazan Magar (1974), Saade Samian Vich (1978), Khilre Hoey Varkey (1989, posthumously).
