A few months back my Fall Transformational Coaching Program participated in a campaign to raise funds for a global charity called charity: water. charity: water brings water infrastructure to remote villages in the world where there is no water. I was blown away by the extraordinary generosity of my group. In just one week we raised $124,000 for charity: water and we changed the lives of many people, especially women, for a generation. In this episode I interviewed Scott Harrison, he’s the founder of charity: water. Scott has an interesting story. As you’ll hear, he went from a nightclub promoter to someone who created a charity that’s doing extraordinary things in the world! Initially, I wanted to interview him to hear his personal story so others could be inspired and learn from it and it turned into a segment about charity: water, which candidly, we should all hear. It’s mind-blowing the number of women in the world who spend an entire day just gathering and carrying water for their family. You’ll hear some extraordinary stories in this interview. In the end, Scott did share how he learned to live his life and that is exactly what I wanted to come across to you. Living your life for things greater than yourself. Living your life in service. Ep 248: Make Over Thinking And Worry A Thing Of Your Past Overthinking.
Start Your Transformation Now You probably know what that is, right? And, more than anything, you probably know what it feels like. Not everyone over thinks but a large part of the population does and it brings a lot of grief for most. And, the good news…it’s not you doing it, it’s your brain and the better news is, you can break the habit, which we dig into in this episode. So, I’m talking about overthinking in this week’s episode. And, before we go any further: Are you an overthinker? Let’s find out. Quiz time. Do you: 1. Stay awake wondering what you’re going to do about _____? 2. Worry often about what’s going to happen financially? 3. Worry about what you’re going to say in social settings? 4. Second guess what you did and did you do it right? 5. Often obsess and think about what others think of you? 6. Obsess over what you said or did and how it could have been done differently? 7. Go over in your mind what you said and how it could be different or better or more or less? 8. Stay up till 4 AM worrying? Hard time falling asleep? 9. Often weigh the pros and cons of a decision? Well, my friend, if you answered yes to at least half of these questions then you’re an over-thinker, and trust me, I know how taxing that can be because I am a recovered over-thinker. In this episode, I dive into what causes overthinking and how your brain is really what keeps your mind trapped in the habit of overthinking. Ep 247: Is Your Body Controlling You?
Start Your Transformation Now I know you’ve probably heard the phrase, “You’re not a human being having a spiritual experience, you’re a spiritual being having a human experience.” Even though this makes perfect sense to most people, they don’t really deep dive into it and explore the deeper meaning of it. Let’s approach this from the position of Duality of Being. You’re a dual being, both mind, and body, yet most of us live from only body and just casually think about mind and spirit. This being stated, the big question in this episode is – Is Your Body Controlling You? And, the big question is, “What is you?” Are you your body or your mind, or better asked, which part of you is the ‘bigger” part of you? The bigger part of you is your mind, yet we often let our body control us, and we give all our power to our body. Let me give you a metaphor…your pinkie. Does your mind control your body, and your body control your pinkie, or does your pinkie finger control the totality of you? Let’s be scientific, your brain makes 95% of your decisions but are the decisions made by “you” or your brain? And, you are not your brain. Let me give you another metaphor. When you go on vacation and rent a car. After you do your travels you return your car and go home and the same with you. Your body is your car, and you are driving it, it is not driving you, yet most people make the totality of their life their body. When they do this they are living from the smallest part of who they are. So, back to your brain. Your brain is full of chemicals and these chemicals influence your hormones, your moods, and just about all aspects of your body, but, and here is where most people lose track of the bigger picture. You are not your body, you are first a mind. In this episode, I dig deeper into this concept and how you can start working from the higher part of yourself and not the lower part of you, which is your body. Ep 246: Attention, Belief, and Manifestation
Start Your Transformation Now This episode has been on my mind in various ways for about a week or so. I was apprehensive about doing this episode only because I don’t want to appear to be repetitive, but for a lot of us, the only way we integrate and learn is through repetition. You have probably heard me say before, “You are where your attention is.” When you hear that, what do you think? Do you fully know it so that you can integrate it? Are you thinking, “OK, makes sense?” Or, are you thinking, “Geez, I wish he’d stop talking about that?” The reality is that your life comes down to attention and awareness, and what you have or have not in life or have and have not created is a matter of your attention and where you hold it. Candidly, when I did this episode, I was traveling. I did not have my regular podcast set up, and I was doing my best to get this out while in the middle of a day of travel, so my rhythm and sound may be off. But, what is sound is the message. It’s so easy to dismiss simple things when we hear things like “You are where your attention is,” but that one phrase can transform our lives when we fully understand it and master it. I go into many stories and scenarios in this episode in a final attempt to get people to understand and embrace this life-encompassing and life-changing principle. Ep 245: What Do You Assume Your Biggest Traps Are In Life?
Start Your Transformation Now Your assumptions control every aspect of your life. Assumptions are powerful because you live from them to build your life or destroy your life. Your life is a series of assumptions and in this episode, we take a look at your biggest assumptions and then talk about how to eliminate the most negative ones. An assumption is a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof. How many negative assumptions do you make about yourself and you learned them from others or single experiences? As this question runs through your mind the truth is that pretty much the only thing that holds you back in life is your false assumptions about yourself….both your learned ones and your self-created ones. Look at your life circumstances right now. Wake-up call. The circumstances of your life are pretty much made from your self-limiting assumptions. In this episode, we explore five questions that will help you start thinking about the lifetime cost of your negative assumptions. Your assumptions both build your life and destroy your life. It’s vital that you make assumptions that create the quality of life you desire. Ep 244: Four Principles That I Live My Life By
Start Your Transformation Now People often ask me, “Hey Jim, what are your favorite quotes?” Like a lot of people. I have tons of quotes that inspire me in some way but I have a handful that I live my life by and ones that have helped transform the way I show up in life. In particular, they have brought so much, joy, peace of mind and solitude into my life, and I wanted to share these with you. Candidly, you have probably heard me speak of these at some time in a prior episode, but I put them together for you here. I’m not exaggerating when I say that there is a good probability that these four quotes, or we’ll call them principles, have saved my life. Here they are. You are where your attention is. Everything always has been, is now and will always been fine. Fear is the illness of will. Every single thing that happens to me in life is a blessing. You may have heard me say one or all of these before and you may understand them but when you come to know them, you then live them, and when you live them your life becomes a great deal easier and happier. It’s obvious, they are quite simple yet I caution you not to trivialize them. There is great power in these life phrases. Ep 243: Understanding One Of Your Super Powers

Ep 242: You Already Know The Secret
Start Your Transformation Now Have you ever noticed that when you cut your finger, you probably put a band-aid on it, and then you don’t think twice about it? Have you noticed that you don’t focus on healing your finger? You’re not doing self hypnosis healing, acupuncture, yoga, etc. to heal your finger. Even if it’s a bad cut that does not require stitches, you simply wrap it up, go about your tasks and forget about it. The whole point of this episode is shockingly simple and powerful, and honestly, it’s the key to all manifestation. Yes, health, a cut finger, overall wellness, money, relationships…everything. The reason you don’t focus or worry about your finger healing is because, are you ready? It’s because you already know it’s going to heal. And that is the key…the concept of ALREADY. I stumbled onto this realization by accidental observation in 2020. I had a stroke and heart failure in 2020 and today I am completely healthy and well. In this episode I talk about how a few things. I talk about where we keep our attention, what we create when we work from “need” and the power of already knowing that we can create whatever we want in life. That is a tremendous power we all have, no matter what the circumstances of your life are at the moment. When we work from needing and creating and in particular, when we place high value on what we want, even great health, we often create resistance to getting it. Why do we create resistance? Because the bigger it is the harder it seems and that is challenging for a lot of people.
