Ep 136: ENCORE Episode: How To Overcome The Fear Of Judgement
Start Your Transformation Now I’m sure you’ve already made dozens of judgments today about yourself and other people and people have already judged you about what you’re wearing or how you’re acting or what music you’re playing. Heck, you’ve probably judged this podcast! That’s because that’s what humans do. We judge. We are meaning-making machines! In this episode, you’ll discover that judging people and being judged is a part of the human experience and the most effective way to eliminate the fear of being judged is to accept it. I provide some key questions to ask yourself surrounding fears of abandonment and rejection that you won’t want to miss if you want to start living a fuller and more freedom-filled life. In this episode I discuss: Abandonment and Rejection—the two biggest fears we have How to get over people judging you for good Are you judging yourself on externals? If so you’ll never be happy. Do this instead! Questions to ask yourself to finally eliminate the fear of judgment and rejection Transformational Takeaway: When people are judging you, how do you know to the exact degree that you’re being judged? 10%? 100%? The truth is you don’t know. If you’re not putting yourself out there yet, at what degree of judgment can you take action anyway, despite the judgment? When you’re only in a 100% judgment-free zone? Can you take action when you have 20% judgment? How will you know when to stop being in the fear of judgment? Hint: Now is a good time to let go of that fear. No matter what you do you’ll be judged. What would your life look like 3 months from now if you took action even if you knew you would be judged? Ep 135: When Is A Good Day To Die? Part 2
Start Your Transformation Now What a crazy show title, right? I mean…who titles an episode “When is a great day to die?” I do, that’s who. I asked the question because it’s something that most people don’t want to face. Ya know, the inevitable, death! Yet, it’s a certainty for all of us. The “biggest truth” in this 3D life is that you’re going to leave the planet and it’s something that is so casually looked at or ignored that most people miss the power in the acceptance of it. Meaning: If death is the “worst” that could happen to you then why do so many billions of people fear far less – like if someone judges them, if they are good enough, etc. Ridiculous, right? To the title of this episode. Death is inevitable, so what makes one day or any day better than another? There is no “better” day to die. I mean, whichever day it happens, it’s going to happen and no day is better than another. So, while on the planet do you want to free yourself from the limits of 3D fears and enjoy a great life? Or, do you want to not free yourself and live many years and yet not be “alive?” A blissful life or a miserable one. Either way you’re going to die. Accept the bigger awareness in life, use it to your advantage and life a life of well-being! Transformational Takeaway: Today is a great day to die. Ep 133: Know Thyself.
Start Your Transformation Now The age old question, “Who am I?” The answer is so simple that most of us miss the answer. Who we “are” is right in front of our eyes and we’re so “close” to ourself we cannot “see” ourself. In this episode I go into some simple ways that we can start exploring and discovering who you are. I go into some of my own experiences of exploration of self and I give you many questions to ponder about “who you are.” The answer is right in front of you. If you truly paid attention and observed yourself, even your awareness of self for just one day this would tell you who you are. Your life is your mirror and who you are is right in front of you. This awareness of self will give you great growth and power. Enjoy this episode. Transformational Takeaway: The best way to know yourself is to have courage to observe yourself, accept yourself and realize that you’re right in front of yourself. Ep 132: Five Random Thoughts To Change Your Life - Volume 3
Start Your Transformation Now Here’s another in the “Five Random Thoughts” Series. OK, full transparency, I was pressed for time this weekend and traveling so I put another random thought episode, and given the feedback, it appears many of you guys are loving these. So, the five random thoughts this week are: 1) When you run your life by emotions you’ll find yourself in the ditch. I used to find that it was hard for me to follow through and one of my coaches pointed out, “You don’t follow through with your commitments because when your feelings change so do your commitments.” This was a huge life-altering ah-ha moment. And, if you’re not following through in life perhaps you are the same as I once was? 2) Your life is this way or that way because you tell yourself life is this way or that way. Life is a reflection of you. Kahlil Gibran once said, “Words are but simple dripping from the mind.” So, how do you tell yourself that “life is.” Exactly as you tell yourself will be your experience of life! 3) Mastery Is repetition and sacrifice These are all simple and this one is as simple as the others but so simple many of us miss. What have you “mastered” in life? We live in a world of mediocrity and most of us have “mastered” little. Most of us just get by in life. The title is obvious, to create mastery in anything it requires repetition, and most of us get that yet what most of us don’t like is that it also requires sacrifice. For everything in life, there is a price. And to be masterful at anything you must pay the price for it. 4) Changing your life is very simple but requires devotion Change is easy. Becoming who you are now was not hard. You didn’t fight to become who you ARE, you learned it. Like the last random thought, you become who you are with repetition. It’s EASY to do most things with repetition and where and what is your repetition? 5) If I don’t have humbleness I lose everything. It took me MANY years to get this. I got it when I tried to quote what I was taught. “The common man is hooked to other men, the spiritual warrior is hooked to infinity. “ MEANING: If I lose mySELF in my ego and I then am not humble I then lose “who” I am, which is a spiritual being. There is obviously a lot more and humbleness is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less. And, it requires that you place you either above or below anyone. Transformational Takeaway: When you run your life by your emotions you’ll find yourself in the ditch. Your life is “this way” or “that way” because you tell yourself life is this way or that way. Mastery is repetition and sacrifice. Changing your life is very simple but requires devotion. If I don’t have humbleness I lose everything. Ep 131: You Stay Stuck In Life Because Your Brain Traps You In Comfort Zones
Start Your Transformation Now Yep, you read that right, your brain keeps you trapped in your comfort zones. I don’t want to give you all the details here because I have to save some of the good stuff for the episode but as crazy as it sounds, it’s not your thinking that keeps you trapped, it’s your reptilian brain. Here’s a big “Ah ha, that makes sense for a lot of people.” Your reptilian brain operates from a place of predictability and safety. It’s a brain based survival mechanism. So, because your reptilian brain likes predictability it sabotages you leaving your comfort zones because that is unpredictable. In this episode I talk about many facets of this entire concept and HOW to get out of your comfort zones and you’re going to want to hear this! Transformational Takeaway: You will not leave your comfort zones until you leave your comfort zones. Ep 130: How Mim Went From A Life Resigned To Cancer To A Lifetime Of Health And Vitality
Start Your Transformation Now Just as the headline says, Mim Jenkinson went from a lifetime of identifying as a “cancer survivor” and always worrying that it would come back to a lifetime of health and wellness. Listen to how Mim says she went from a lifetime of “identifying” as someone who had cancer to someone who put it in her past. As you’ll hear her say, she now identifies as a “Happy, peaceful person.” She changed her thinking and her world changed. Many of you might find this very helpful, listen to her explanation of how she went from a life “resigned to living in fear” to a life of peace and happiness. What she can do, you can do. If you’ve listened to any other interviews I’ve done you’ve often heard people talk about the power of changing their stories and Mim shares the same. When her stories changed about being ill, she changed. And, the same applies to you and me, when we change our stories about ourselves, our entire life changes. This tool of thought can change any area of your life – health, wellness, money, relationships, you can totally transform your life with the power of your stories. And finally, listen to the power and her story about giving up a life of living in resignation – it’s powerful. All her story and triumph applies to all of us, it just applies to us in different ways. And, it’s powerful! Listen and enjoy! Ep 129: Be Do Have Transformation Series - Part 1 Sneak Peek
Start Your Transformation Now In the course of many episodes, you've often heard me talk about BE-DO-HAVE (BDH) and how it’s the only performance strategy that will help you move forward in all areas of your life. As you may or may not know, I’m doing the last Live BDH series of 2020 and I wanted to share some of the takeaways… You’ve learned to live your life backward. Your life and life limitations were passed to you from your parents Why you keep falling back into your old patterns that sabotage you How you’re working from the outside in without even knowing it How your personality functions like an “onion” Why your motivation to do things wears off in a few days Why working from time, energy and money are fail points How thinking your way to a better life is a fallacy of thinking How life transformation is about context and not content. And, as usual, much much more. This is one of three training recaps for you. Keep your eyes open for two more coming to you within a week. Click here to register and JOIN my Facebook BDH Group and actually catch the next two live, which are on September 8th and 9th. I promise, you’re missing TONS by not being on the live episodes or watching the full trainings in my group.
