These are just a few ways that Russia’s Amber Room has been described. A room crafted entirely from amber, gold and precious stones that served as a space for the country’s royalty for centuries. However, in the dying days of WW2, the Amber Room vanished from its Russian palace home, and it has never been seen again. Today, a replica stands in its place. Hi all, I have decided to take a break for Christmas from now. I promised myself after the events of this year I would take Christmas off from everything for the first time in many years, and I’m going to. I know it isn’t ideal taking a break in the middle of a series, but I just need to. I’m sure many of you feel the same. I want to thank you all for your support this year. I’m not sure I would have got through it without you. Truly. I hope I gave you back something small in return. I also want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy holiday. If you travel - be safe. I don’t want to cover you on this podcast or to come looking for you. My passport also just expired. I won’t be on email, and will be on and off Patreon over the next few weeks. Some are experiencing tech glitches joining Patreon.
